How does it work?
 

It's simple! Just tell us a bit about your podcast, which product you're after and what style you want it in using our questionnaire. You can be as specific as you'd like, or let us take over the reigns and be in control of some or all of the creative direction. After receiving your questionnaire, we'll be in touch the next business day to confirm your purchase, and within 7 business days we'll send through a product for you to review.

 

If want to make some changes, don't worry - you've got two free revisions included with every purchase!

How does payment and ordering work?

 

After ordering your product on our questionnaire, we will be in touch to confirm your order. A 25% deposit is required upon confirmation for us to commence working on your product. Once the finished product is made, we will send over "sonically-watermarked" versions of the end product for you to revise. Once you are happy with your product, the remaining 75% amount owing is paid to us in return for your own mixed and mastered versions of the end product, free for you to use as you'd like.

What if I don't like what I receive?

We will do our best to provide you with a product that aligns with your vision. Two free revisions are included with every purchase, with additional revisions available to purchase at reasonable price depending on the product (get in touch for a quote). For this reason it is important that you include as much information and be as specific as possible for each revision - unless you want us to take over some of the control of course!

What is your refund policy
 

The initial 25% deposit (mentioned above) may be refunded to you if you decide to cancel your purchase or change your mind within 48 hrs of payment. After this time, the initial 25% deposit is non-refundable as we will have already begun work on your product. Once a transaction for a finished product has been finalised, and the remaining 75% amount owing has been paid, we can not offer a refund. Please keep in mind that we do offer revisions! (see above)

 

I need more than two revisions! How much does an extra revision usually cost?

Do I have full ownership of the end product?
 

Yep! Once the final transaction is made, we will send over .wav and .mp3 files of the finished product, mixed and mastered, free from a "sonic watermark" for you to use however you like - It's yours now!

Can I get part of a song in my Intro/Outro?

 

You can only include a part of a song if you have full ownership of the song containing the part you wish to include. This is very important. We will not use a part of a song that is requested to be in an intro/outro unless the song is yours. We don't want to face any copyright claims, and neither should you!

This principle also applies to other copyrighted audio.

Can you share more information about your mixing services?
 

Notice how some podcasts have that real slick, clean, professional sound? Part of this is because of their recording equipment and where they've recorded (a living room recording sounds different to one done in a studio). Another part is due to their audio mixing. Audio mixing optimises how the end product sounds with the materials it's been given to work with. Not only does it allow your recordings to be cleaned up and sounding as good, dynamic and loud as they can, it can also 'place' the sound for the listener. Using depth within the frequency spectrum, some sounds can be used to sound close or far away - without clashing with each other. Using this in conjunction with the width of the stereo field, we can really hone in on where you want certain sounds to be, and when.

 

With Podcusts mixing services, we'll use your recordings and clean them up to sound as good as they can - dynamic, loud, and as clean as can be. Keep in mind, the better the recording, the better the final product. Mixing is only half of the process. Whats that old saying - can't polish a turd?

 

Additionally, we're able to add in additional sounds and FX as per your request. Have a podcast where you're telling a story about an experience in a jungle overseas? Why not spice it up with some subtle wildlife noises - the sounds of birds from left to right, a roar in the far off distance? The possibilities are endless.
